Nestled on the banks of the historic Lourens River on the outskirts of Somerset West, 20 min from the airport and half an hour from Cape Town, Willowbrook Lodge is a haven of peace tranquility. Each of our twelve ground-floor en-suite rooms have separate bath and shower, under floor heating, TV, mini bar, Air conditioning, direct dial telephone and private patio and are sited in an enchanting Cape discovery , garden which leads down to the river. All rooms are individually decorated to create an elegant and restful ambience; you wake to the sound of birdcalls and the burble of the river as it winds its way downstream.

One Petite Double, Eight Double, Two Grande Double rooms and a suite are available. Breakfast and Lunch can be taken in the garden or on the terrace while at night you can enjoy your meal in our elegant air-conditioned dining room. The award winning D?vine Restaurant offers you a choice of local Cape wines to accompany your selection from the imaginative A La Carte menu, skillfully prepared by our Executive chef Loran Livesey.

Our dedicated team of staff are always on hand to make your stay as restful and enjoyable as possible, whether you are relaxing by the pool, enjoying treatments from our beauty therapist or taking drinks in the lounge or bar.
In addition to the facilities at Willowbrook there are various places of interest and things to do in close proximity to the lodge. There are numerous Golf courses nearby and we will only be to glad to book tee off times for our guests. Tours and tour guides can also be arranged for the endless attractions situated in the area.

Enjoy time lounging by the crystal blue salt water sparkling pool, with the sun kissing your skin. It will never be so alluring as it is under a South African sky. With birds singing and insects calling, a more surreal setting is hard to find.

Breakfasts and lunch can also be relished on the terrace or on our lush lawn, whilst listening to the babbling brook passing by.

Weddings

Our beautiful lush lawns, manicured gardens and the Lourensriver running parallel to our property makes Willowbrook an ideally romantic venue for weddings and our neigbours Vergelegen and Morgenster Estates offer their tranquil backdrop settings for that ultimate wedding photo album.

We cater for approximately ten ceremonies per year, and although the hotel and restaurant are available year round for wedding receptions, the use of the gardens for ceremonies and receptions is restricted to October to May. We can comfortably cater for up to 50 guests dining in the restaurant or up to 150 guests seated in the gardens next to the river. This river garden option however, is unfortunately limited to daytime events and buffet menus only. For smaller receptions, we are able to offer plated menus in our gardens in front of the hotels, whilst utilizing the river gardens for the ceremony.

We will be happy to assist you with all your needs and requests and will be there to support and guide you from the beginning to end, ensuring you a smooth hassle free ceremony.
