Swellendam Country Lodge is a Guest House in the heart of the Overberg District of the Western Cape, South Africa. The Guesthouse is situated on the fringe of the town of Swellendam, and is a well-liked base for exploring this beautiful part of the country. Swellendam is a two hours' drive from Cape Town, and bordering on the Garden Route and the Route 62. There are many compelling reasons to visit Swellendam Country Lodge. The Guest House itself has a unique atmosphere. The stylish characteristic interior is a combination of classic charm and modern style. The guest rooms are situated in a beautiful landscaped garden where you will enjoy the wide range of birds, trees, fruit and flowers. On warm summer days, the large sparkling swimming pool is a refreshment not to be missed.

Swellendam Country Lodge

Directions

Swellendam is situated in the Western Cape, halfway between Cape Town and George. The town borders on the Garden Route and the Route 62. To Swellendam Country Lodge Guest House B&B from the N2: Take the turn off ‘Swellendam West/Ashton, Worcester R60’. After almost one kilometre, you arrive at a four-way stop where you turn right - into the Voortrek Street of Swellendam. Our Guesthouse is the third house on your left hand side. To Swellendam Country Lodge Guest House B&B from the R62: On the road between the towns of Ashton and Montagu, you take the turnoff to Swellendam. After half an hour/three quarters of an hour, you will arrive at a four way stop where you turn left – into the Voortrek Street of Swellendam. Swellendam Country Lodge is the third property on your left, next to restaurant 'The Old Mill'.
