A lovely sheltered garden has saltwater swimming pool, trampoline and superb mountain view. 15 mins to Cableway,V&A Waterfront, beaches, golf courses, Constantia Wine Estates, Hout Bay and airport. Southey Cottage is located in the tranquil residential area of Upper Claremont, Cape Town, in a sheltered garden with a swimming pool, trampoline and a lovely mountain view. Secure parking behind automatic motorised gates is available to our guests. Breakfast is served in the sunny breakfast room. There are many restaurants close by. Small kitchenettes enable guests to selfcater or use delivery service for light meals. Southey Cottage has many repeat visitors and has been offering bed and breakfast accommodation since 1995. We have also achieved the AA/SAA National B&B award. Children over twelve are welcome. For the convenience of other guests we ask that smokers only smoke outside... View Room This beautiful suite has a magnificent view of the mountain from its balcony. Other facilities for your convenience include a small bar fridge, kettle, satellite television, hairdryer, heated towel rails and tea/coffee facilities etc. The Cottage This is a bedroom with a double bed. Our regular guests refer to it as the "honeymoon suite". It has a private front door and access to the garden and pool area. Philip's Room This lovely suite with its balcony overlooking the pool has a view of the mountains above Kirstenbosch and a cosy kitchenette.Rates
