The Classic Tree Suites ~ 6 tree-suites With names such as Monkey Plum & Turkey Berry, (some of our indigenous trees) Comprising... entrance area, bedroom / sitting room, on split levels, stunning end-glass gable, bathroom with glass roof over double-ended bath, twin basins, separate shower room with bidet and loo. Outdoor relaxing deck. Decorated with all natural fabrics, in subtle creams, earth tones and black, echoing the Xhosa style. All have views over lagoon or forest.
The Upper Tree Camp Suites ~ 4 tree-suites Named after plants in our Fynbos Kingdom, such as Arum & Watsonia, with high position overlooking the valleys of indigenous forest. Comprises separate sitting room, large bedroom Outside deck with sunken jetted bath. Full bathroom, double basins, glass walled shower, Double ended bath (with glass roof) and bidet. Lots of bird activity here! Perfect for honeymooners.
The Moroccan Tree Suites ~ 4 tree-suites Named after our fauna... Gecko, Cameleon, Porcupine and Shongololo, these exciting suites are decorated in lush north African style. Comprises entrance area, large bedroom, sitting area, bathroom with double-ended bath (set in glass) double basins, separate room with double shower, loo and bidet. Large outside deck.
All of our Tree Suites have a mini bar, fridge and a full range of teas and coffee. Romantic and private... the perfect combination for lovers... and nature lovers!

Directions

The Phantom Forest Eco Reserve lies 7km west of the picturesque southern cape town of Knysna, at the foot of the spectacular Phantom Pass. When approaching from Cape Town, turn left onto the Phantom Pass road, the Phantom Pass turn-off is located just before the raod bridge over the Knysna river. If you are approaching from Knysna, turn right immediately after crossing the Knysna river. Follow the Phantom Pass road for about 1,2 km and you will see Phantom Forest s entrance on the left, denoted by a sculpture of two Bushpigs riding a pennyfarthing ! The Phantom Pass road is tarred until just beyond the entrance to the Lodge. Turn left into the entrance and follow the cobbled road to the gatehouse on the left. You will park your car here and Phantom Forest staff will transport you, via Land Cruiser, to the Lodge.
