KATBERG LUXURY SELF-CATERING GOLF VILLAS

Relax and unwind in luxury in our new luxury self-catering units located in the heart of the Winterberg Mountains of the Eastern Cape!

These stylish Settler-style houses are fully furnished with either two or three bedrooms which have been elegantly and tastefully furnished. The lounge area boasts relaxed seating, a fireplace for those winter nights, and a plasma TV with DSTV. The fully equipped kitchen, which is fitted with both a dishwasher and washing machine, is sure to meet your needs and you can enjoy your home-cooked meals in the relaxed dining area.

Guests have access to our Championship golf course and clubhouse, as well as the Katberg Hotel and Mountain Spa attractions and facilities, including the Spa, sporting facilities and equestrian centre.

2-Bedroom Villas:
Main bedroom has a double bed; second bedroom has two three-quarter beds; both rooms are en-suite.

3-Bedroom Villas:
Main bedroom with en-suite bathroom and two more bedrooms upstairs with two single beds in each. There is an upstairs bathroom with an extra toilet, and a visitors toilet. Upstairs TV lounge also has an extra double pull-out couch and double bunk.

Facilities

Katberg Kids Club:

During school holidays we offer the Katberg Kids Club daily from 08:00am - 17:00pm

We will look after the little ones while you relax and enjoy the facilities. We employ dedicated and responsible staff to ensure that your child is well looked after and entertained.

The kids will have lots to do as we entertain them with loads of fun activites, games and sports such as face-painting, volleyball, soccer, sack racing etc.

For R60 per day per child (must be older than 3 years) we will make sure they have fun for the whole day.

Sporting Facilities

The Katberg Hotel has facilities for tennis and squash, both of which are free of charge. Equipment is available, but please note there is a refundable deposit payable. The resort also offers a Bowling Green with 8 rinks and a Volleyball Court for which we have equipment available (no charge).

Conference

Located high in the Winterberg Mountains, the stress-free environment of the Katberg Hotel is the perfect place for your conference. Our Lion Conference Room can host up to 150 delegates in cinema-style seating, and our forest boma where we host special theme evenings and braais can cater for 120. Once the work is complete, enjoy a rejuvenating visit to our Mountain Spa, take a walk, go fishing or just relax at the poolside.

KATBERG HOTEL BANQUETING High up on the Winterberg Escarpment in the Eastern Cape, the Katberg Hotel is the ideal venue for your wedding or special function. Our Lion Conference Room is able to cater for up to 100 banqueting guests or 200 cocktail party guests in a venue that boasts a big fireplace and its own bar. Alternatively, the Katberg Hotel can host up to 120 guests in our forest boma for a special theme evening or braai – the perfect outdoor African experience!

Directions

From East London - Follow the N6 northwards to Stutterheim and Cathcart; at Cathcart turn left onto the R67 to Fort Beaufort; pass Seymour and turn right onto the gravel road to Katberg. From Port Elizabeth - Follow the N2 to Grahamstown and then take the R67 to Fort Beaufort; pass Tidbury's Toll and turn left onto the gravel road to Katberg. From Gauteng - Follow the N1 to Bloemfontein and then take the N6 to Aliwal North, Queenstown and Cathcart; at Cathcart turn right onto the R67 to Fort Beaufort; pass Seymour and turn right onto the gravel road to Katberg.
