Each of the 8 luxury double suites offer beautiful bathrooms, climate control, stocked mini bars, tea and coffee making facilities, direct dial telephones and hair dryers. Three walls of every suite open up entirely to allow the outside and inside worlds to merge. Sit in the tranquil privacy of your 'own' forest and enjoy the unique sights and sounds.
FacilitiesDining Experience the best of South African cuisine. Sumptuous chef prepared breakfasts and (fine dining) dinners are served in the main lodge dining room. Enjoy the unique Intsomi tastes and aromas. Sample South African wines and indulge in traditional foods. Lunch is available at the lodge and a limited a la carte menu provides options to suit all tastes. Weather permitting, meals can be served on the main lodge deck. The Lodge lends itself to numerous opportunities with regard to creating the ambience that suits your particular occassion. We can seat a maximum of 75 guests indoors or out. We cater for a number of occassions including weddings, special corporate events and executive conferences as well as for the discerning individual who wants to get away with friends for an exclusive escape. DirectionsFrom Port Elizabeth * Follow the N2 from Port Elizabeth towards Grahamstown. * Take the R72 turn-off towards Port Alfred. Immediately prior to entering Alexandria, turn right at the 'Kaba/Grootvlei' sign. * Drive through the security boom and follow the signs for 'Intsomi Forest Lodge / Woody Cape Nature Reserve'. * After 2km, turn sharp left. * The second turn is to the right after 2.3 km. Turn left after 1.6km. * Travel a further 3.6km, go past the entrance for 'Woody Cape Nature Reserve' and after crossing the Culvert bump, look for the 'Intsomi Forest Lodge' sign and turn right into the forest (approx 200m from the bump). * Continue for 2km to the lodge. From East London * Follow the R72 from East London, Port Alfred to Alexandria. * On exiting Alexandria, turn left at the 'Kaba/Grootvlei' sign. * Drive through the security boom and follow the signs for 'Intsomi Forest Lodge / Woody Cape Nature Reserve'. * After 2km, turn sharp left.
