Welcome to Fairlight Beach House. Fairlight is situated in the beautiful village of Umdloti on the North Coast of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. A stones throw away from the pristine coastline, Fairlight over-looks one of the finest bathing beaches South Africa has to offer. Fairlight Beach House boasts a breathtaking seascape vista, and our prime locality provides for an abundance of water sports and activities. Fairlight Beach House, once a family home, has been converted into a guest house of distinction, offering unrivalled hospitality and service.

Fall asleep to the sound of splashing waves and awaken to an African sunrise and Fairlight's famous full buffet Breakfast around the tranquil poolside patio.

Accommodation

Louise's room, our luxury double/honeymooners suite is situated on the southern corner of the beach house. The panoramic view lends a feeling of being suspended over the beach. Recently renovated, with its own private deck, Louise's room is a must for a romantic getaway.

Colin's room opens up onto the lovely poolside patio and also has a front side deck with awesome sea views. It is a double room with en-suite full bathroom.

Peter's room, this 1 bedroom sea facing suite is suitable for 2 adults and 2 young children sharing or Triple (3 adults). This suite has a full bathroom, has a self catering / lounge / TV area and large sea facing deck.

The New Room, double with full ensuite bathroom, is situated on the seaside and next to Peter's room. These rooms inter-lead, thus allowing accommodation for 6 if required.

For the business traveller Kevin and Colin's rooms are situated in the main section of the house. Both have decks with spectacular sea views and the option of singles or doubles.

All rooms lead onto decks overlooking the warm Indian Ocean, and superb bathing beach. Rooms are air-conditioned, have tea and coffee facilities, hairdryers, bar fridge, DStv/M-Net. All of rooms and the interior of the house are non-smoking areas.

We are only 30 minutes from Durban International Airport and en-route to Big Five game reserves. Gateway Shoppertainment complex, Umlhanga Ridge Business district, excellent restaurants, banks and movies are a five minute drive away. For the more adventurous, Umdloti Beach is a base for a variety of activities from swimming and surfing to micro lighting, dolphin spotting and horse riding. Fairlight's size can cater for large golfing groups and we are within 10 minutes of some of the finest golf courses in South Africa.
