The Coombs View Reserve is a self-catering, eight bed stone and thatch lodge. This retreat is nestled in amongst Eastern Cape valley-bushveld and teems with a variety of bird species and small game.

 Reserve offering a comfortable mix of rustic lodge and tent accommodation with great food and a well stocked bar. Night drives, bush walks, day excursions and bush braais. Good base for exploring the Big Five reserves outside Grahamstown such as Kwandwe, Shamwari and Addo.

The Coombs View Lodge is an eight bed, stone and thatch, self-catering bush lodge nestled in amongst secluded Eastern Cape valley-bushveld, approximately 20 mins from Grahamstown. The reserve is teeming with a variety of bird species and small game and is an ideal retreat for nature lovers.

Breakfasts and self-prepare braai or potje dinners can be supplied by prior arrangement.

The comfortably appointed double, twin and family rooms are set back into the surrounding forest thickets, accessible to the main lodge and entertainment area by thatched, wooden walk-ways. The lodge is serviced by a fully equipped self-catering kitchen, dining and entertainment area that overlooks the private pool and surrounding forest. All rooms enjoy ensuite shower facilities enjoying their own decks overlooking the surrounding valley bushveld.

At the Coombs View Reserve can vary from a small intimate affair with just family and friends to a grandiose occasion with a marquis tent, live music and a guest list of up to 150.

The venue is very flexible with good indoor outdoor flow and a beautiful lawn area encircled by cape valley bushveld.

There are many options available with regards to catering and the general style of wedding. Outdoor ceremonies can be arranged as well as a recommended pre-wedding family bushbraai. The lodge complex sleeps 16 guests sharing in a mixture of stone and thatch lodges and a luxury safari tented camp. The Coombs View Reserve is close enough to Grahamstown for spill over guests to find B&B accommodation if they intend staying over.

Conference

The Coombs View Reserve is ideal for medium size conferences and "bosberaade". The lodge complex is situated equidistant between Port Elizabeth and East London on the N2. This facility provides an interference free zone where corporate clients can conduct meetings strat planning etc, ad lib.

At an all incl rate from R550 per delegate, the Coombs View Reserve offers a very reasonable option to corporate clients and ensures standards of the highest calibre.

Accommodation is in stone and thatched lodges and a luxury safari tented camp, adjacent to the entertainement area.
