Situated on a hill amidst vineyards just outside Stellenbosch, Allegria Guesthouse offers stunning mountain views in a tranquil and inspirational setting.

Allegria ( joy of life ) comprises six spacious rooms in a majestic villa. Each room is individually and stylish decorated. Contemporary, yet with a touch of Africa and offering all imaginable comfort.

Personal service is provided by owners Annemarie and Jan, who guarantee a relaxed atmosphere.

Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast in the regal lounge or in the shady courtyard.
You can enjoy a fine Shiraz from our own vineyard. The Shiraz 2010 will be released on 1 October 2011There is Internet access available to clients in the house.

Annemarie and Jan actively support local projects, as a modest contribution to the education and development of the nearby community.

Allegria is a perfect base to discover The Winelands, Cape Town and beyond. The owners have even plotted some routes for exiting day trips.

Since the guesthouse is a part of the Stellenbosch Hills Wine Route, numerous wine estates and restaurants are within easy reach.

Directions

Route from Stellenbosch centre (Dorp Street): - Drive down Dorp Street in a westerly direction, into Lower Dorp Street - At the T-junction at the end of Lower Dorp Street make a left turn (M12, direction Kuilsriver) - Stay on the M12 for 8 km and turn right into Cairngorm Road. This is the driveway to Allegria Guesthouse. Route from Cape Town International airport: - Leave the airport and go straight on at the traffic lights (direction Cape Town) - After 1 km take the N2 direction Somerset West - After 5 km on the N2 turn off at exit 22a (R300, direction Bellville) - After 5 km on the R300 turn off at exit 21 (Stellenbosch Arterial) - At the traffic lights turn right (M12, direction Stellenbosch) - Follow the M12 for 10 km and turn left into Cairngorm Road. This is the driveway to Allegria Guesthouse
