Some of the walking trails offer unsurpassed views of the valleys on either side of the Piekenierskloof mountain. Visible on to the south on a clear day are Table Mountain and the Swartland, with the Cederberg Mountains to the north and the Atlantic Ocean at Elands Bay to the west. The beautiful swimming pool is at Nuwedam, for guest to use on those glorious hot summer days. Paardekop guests have access to a huge farm dam within walking distance.

Ask about guided farm tours, where you can see some of the farming activities like fruit drying, picking or meet the farm animals.
